223 subsonic ammo that will cycle an ar1512/15/2023 ![]() Of course, Hodgdon provides load data for every bullet weight they’ve tested with all compatible propellants yielding safe and reliable ballistic data. Compressed charges of slower-burn-rate propellants are more compatible with loading heavier bullets. My experience shows, generally speaking, the faster-burn-rate choices work better with bullets weighing up to 60 grains. Burn rates range from IMR 4198 (fastest) to CFE 223 (slowest). Hodgdon offers more than a dozen different propellants for reloading 223/5.56 ammo. handloads, and faster-burning powders like HP38 and Trail Boss can be used for low-velocity specialty loads. Powders Several Hodgdon, IMR, and Winchester powders are appropriate for full-power 223 Rem. They have to operate the gun safely and reliably before you can begin to evaluate their ballistic performance downrange. That’s the major consideration when selecting compatible components. In either AR action type, the buffer spring can be replaced to vary the spring rate over a limited range.ĭepending on the pressure curve generated when firing a round, an AR may or may not function satisfactorily. The gas port in a piston-operated AR is also fixed but may incorporate a size adjustment feature. However, in direct-impingement ARs, the gas port diameter and how far it’s located along the barrel are fixed. ![]() In either a bolt action or an AR, the chamber and bore may be cut tight or loose. Like a bolt gun, an AR has hard physical features, but the design and operation are more complex. That’s the energy source required to retract the bolt, extract the fired case, and self-load another round from the magazine. Some of the gas is diverted-before the bullet exits the barrel-to actuate a piston, carrier, or operating rod. It may still be “too hot” or may not meet your accuracy objective, but it’s not likely dangerous to your gun or you. In fact, if all of the propellant gas exits the muzzle (i.e., the primer or cartridge case didn’t leak or blow out), you’re a long way toward declaring your handload safe and reliable. And, fortunately, nobody can work the bolt fast enough to extract the case while there’s residual pressure in the barrel. The shooter provides the power to cycle the bolt, extract the empty case, and feed another round. ![]() Why? Because burning propellant has only one purpose in a bolt gun-to propel the bullet out of the barrel. Developing safe and reliable handloads in a bolt-action rifle is less complicated than it is for a gas-operated autoloader. I’ve walked the walk, and now I want to share what I’ve learned. A lot of you are out there, and I, myself, fell into this category not so long ago. This article is intended for handloaders who have experience reloading for their bolt-action rifles and now want to handload for an AR-style semiautomatic rifle. ![]()

Translucent polymer clay canes12/15/2023 ![]() Pardo, cooked at much higher temperatures than the manufacturer recommends, can come out VERY clear. Pardo is often quite opaque when it first comes out of the oven and will clear rapidly as it cools. Pardo tends to end up with small bubbles once it’s cured. The darling of the polymer clay community, older Pardo translucent can be a challenge to condition because it crumbles easily and sheets tend to crack rather than stretch. Probably the least useful of the translucents unless you’re going to be using it in a cane. It bakes up fairly shiny and is quite hard once baked. It takes color additives very well, though, because it doesn’t get sticky easily. Kato can be quite a challenge and some people won’t work with it because it can be stiff and hard to condition. You can see examples and read my review of Cernit polymer clay here. Baked Cernit is quite strong and tolerates heat well. It bakes nicely to form a translucent result that doesn’t have much color cast. It can be quite stretchy and sticky during conditioning and can be a challenge to handle if your hands are warm. Cernit Translucent:Ĭernit Translucent is a very clear white clay that bakes up smooth and clean. The whiter color of Premo White Translucent is because it contains an optical brightener (as do many translucent and white polymer clays.) Aside from this fluorescent dye, there’s no difference between Premo Translucent and Premo White Translucent. Premo White Translucent appears more white than regular Premo Translucent, but still does have a slight tan color. Premo takes and holds impressions very well. It bakes up very strong, quite clear, but it does have a tan color cast to it. Premo is a good all-around polymer clay but tends to get quite soft and somewhat sticky when it gets warm. Fimo Professional doesn’t have a translucent clay in their range. The baked finish is not particularly matte and not shiny, either. It bakes without color and is quite strong, but isn’t particularly translucent. It behaves well in the pasta machine and doesn’t get sticky. ![]() Fimo Effect Translucent:įimo Effect Translucent handles very well, it’s firm but not too firm, and slices cleanly. The finished clay is quite brittle and will break if used in thin pieces. It bakes up quite opaque and is sort of a pinkish tan color with a matte finish. This clay is quite soft and cheese-like, it has a consistency sort of like cookie dough, and it gets more sticky the more you work with it. Please refer to that article for information on which translucent clay is the clearest.īut just as each brand’s regular opaque clays have their own working qualities, each brand’s translucent clays are unique as well. I did an experiment and wrote an article comparing the clarity of different brands of translucent polymer clay. What are the characteristics of each brand of translucent polymer clay? Some materials work better than others, of course, and you can read all about this here. You can also use various art supplies in translucent polymer clay to get the color you like. I wrote an article describing this process in detail. Alcohol inks are dye colorants and work very well for tinting translucent clay into vibrantly colored mixes without losing clarity, but they do fade with heat, light, and time. However, you have to be careful that the color you are adding isn’t too opaque or your mix will lose translucency and become more opaque. ![]() The easiest way is to add tiny bits of regular clay to tint colorless translucent. You can easily mix colors into the clay to make it any color you desire. Translucent polymer clay is essentially uncolored. How can I color translucent polymer clay? You can see many of them here in my article on Colored Translucent Polymer Clay. Kato, Sculpey, and Premo just have uncolored translucent. Does translucent polymer clay only come in clear or does it come in colors as well?Ĭernit, Pardo, and Fimo make an entire range of translucent polymer clay colors. Some brands are more clear than others, and thinner pieces of any brand of translucent clay are going to be more clear than thicker pieces. Instead, polymer clay can only be translucent. No brand of polymer clay is completely transparent like glass (though you can get some very nice glass-like effects with translucent clay). ![]() Why isn’t translucent polymer clay the same as transparent clay? This includes Fimo, Premo, Kato Polyclay, Sculpey III, Cernit, Pardo Professional Art Clay, PVClay, Prism & Pro. Most of the major brands of polymer clay carry a translucent in their color ranges. What are the brands of translucent polymer clay? ![]() I’ll try to cover some of the most commonly asked questions that I hear people ask. Although the instructions for using it are no different than with any polymer clay, there are unique qualities and factors that do affect how you use translucent polymer clay. Translucent polymer clay captures the interest of polymer clay artists all over the world. ![]()

Permutations definition12/15/2023 ![]() ![]() In particular, since permutation matrices are orthogonal matrices with nonnegative elements, we define two gradient flows in the space of orthogonal matrices. "A dynamical systems approach to weighted graph matching". the act of changing the order of elements arranged in a particular order, as abc into acb, bac, etc., or of arranging a number of elements in groups made up of equal numbers of the elements in different orders, as a and b in ab and ba a one-to-one transformation of a set with a finite number of elements. A permutation is a mathematical technique that determines the number of possible arrangements in a set when the order of the arrangements matters. Most authors choose one representation to be consistent with other notation they have introduced, so there is generally no need to supply a name. n-queens puzzle, a permutation matrix in which there is at most one entry in each diagonal and antidiagonal Assuming that all nickels are similar, all dimes are similar, and all quarters are similar, we have permutations with similar elements.Costas array, a permutation matrix in which the displacement vectors between the entries are all distinct Perm Coset part ii permutations, cosets and direct product satya mandal university of kansas, lawrence ks 66045 usa january 22 permutations definition let be.So, permutation matrices do indeed permute the order of elements in vectors multiplied with them. Each such matrix, say P, represents a permutation of m elements and, when used to multiply another matrix, say A, results in permuting the rows (when pre-multiplying, to form PA) or columns (when post-multiplying, to form AP) of the matrix A. In mathematics, particularly in matrix theory, a permutation matrix is a square binary matrix that has exactly one entry of 1 in each row and each column and 0s elsewhere. Permutations with Repetition These are the easiest to calculate. The word 'permutation' also refers to the act or process of changing the linear order of an ordered set. ![]() ( August 2022) ( Learn how and when to remove this template message) In mathematics, a permutation of a set is, loosely speaking, an arrangement of its members into a sequence or linear order, or if the set is already ordered, a rearrangement of its elements. Another definition of permutation is the number of such arrangements that are possible. Please help to improve this article by introducing more precise citations. A permutation is an arrangement of objects, without repetition, and order being important. In other words it is now like the pool balls question, but with slightly changed numbers. This article includes a list of general references, but it lacks sufficient corresponding inline citations. This is like saying "we have r + (n−1) pool balls and want to choose r of them". The number of permutations on a set of elements is given by ( factorial Uspensky 1937, p. So (being general here) there are r + (n−1) positions, and we want to choose r of them to have circles. noun the act of changing the arrangement of a given number of elements see more noun an event in which one thing is substituted for another synonyms: replacement, substitution, switch, transposition see more Cite this entry Style: MLA 'Permutation.' Dictionary, . A permutation, also called an 'arrangement number' or 'order,' is a rearrangement of the elements of an ordered list into a one-to-one correspondence with itself. Notice that there are always 3 circles (3 scoops of ice cream) and 4 arrows (we need to move 4 times to go from the 1st to 5th container). See permutations meaning in Hindi, permutations definition, translation. So instead of worrying about different flavors, we have a simpler question: "how many different ways can we arrange arrows and circles?" The word or phrase permutations refers to act of changing the lineal order of objects in a group, or complete change in character or condition, or the act of changing the arrangement of a given number of elements, or an event in which one thing is substituted for another. Let's use letters for the flavors: (one of banana, two of vanilla): In a combination, the elements of the subset. Let us say there are five flavors of icecream: banana, chocolate, lemon, strawberry and vanilla. In mathematics, combination and permutation are two different ways of grouping elements of a set into subsets. ![]()

Car sale invoice12/14/2023 ![]() Next day, I had totally forgotten to follow up on this. To be honest, I was not very hopeful considering the non-inspiring service from dealerships and TATA motors customer care. All they did was to provide me an email ID and asked me to send a detailed email with all my details, an ID proof, copy of the vehicle RC and any other relevant details.ĭrafted a lengthy email and attached all the documents and send it to the provided email ID that evening itself. Initially, they were reluctant even to say that they can provide any help. Called up the office, and explained the whole situation. After few back and forth emails, I finally received the contact details of the regional office of TATA motors for Kerala. So the last resort was to reach out to TATA motors directly. Invoices from other states also would not help. But no one had retained the invoice, or even if they had it was from a different year or of a different model. Tried with a few friends and even sought help in Team BHP under the Nano Twist thread to get a reference invoice. Contact TATA motors to get a duplicate invoice. Get a reference invoice from another Nano owner, who has a same model car purchased on same year.Ģ. There were only two options left for me now:ġ. Local TATA dealerships retained data only for 3 years, so I had no hope of getting an invoice from 2014 now. The original dealership was closed couple of years back, and there was no trace of any documents / records retained.ī. Meanwhile I checked with the local TATA dealership too. We started to trace the dealer from which the car was originally purchased. It was understandable as most of us usually does not bother about the sale invoice once we receive the RC. ![]() Unfortunately the previous owner did not have the sale invoice with him. Upon filing the request to my RTO for ownership transfer, I was asked to present the sale invoice of the car so that the RTO can calculate the tax amount to be paid based on that. Now that I had purchased the car from him, to transfer the ownership I had to pay road tax on the car for the remaining years. It belonged to a differently abled person, and he was exempted from paying road tax at the time of purchase. I had recently purchased a used 2014 TATA Nano Twist. This explains how to proceed if you need a sale invoice of a vehicle, but has lost the same. ![]() Mods, please merge this to any relevant thread if needed. Writing this here because I feel that many of us may go through the same situation at some point. ![]()
